Are you fed up with “not available in your region” messages?<\/h2>\n
\nAt a time when “Fake News” is everywhere, we need proper journalists passing on verified news. So I’m a bit put out that actual news is being withheld, as if I’m living under some dictatorship or in some autocratic state.<\/p>\n

I used a number of apps to help me find interesting news items from around the world. After the GDPR changes, I\u00a0found that some of the apps no longer work and that\u00a0a number of websites were no longer available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the big international websites seem to have recovered by now,\u00a0the\u00a0smaller sites are still blocking all communication.<\/p>\n

“Sorry, this content is not available in your region”<\/em> was today’s message from New York News. Short and to the point.<\/p>\n

However, the Rapid City Journal, (the daily newspaper of Rapid City, South Dakota)\u00a0The Winchester Star, (daily newspaper based in Winchester, Virginia) The Keene Sentinel (newspaper of Keene, New Hampshire) Tribune-Star (newspaper of Terre Haute, Indiana)\u00a0Midland Daily News (newspaper of Midland County, Michigan)\u00a0and Cadillac News, (the newspaper for Cadillac,\u00a0Wexford, Missaukee, Osceola, and eastern Lake Counties in Michigan) went into details.<\/p>\n
