100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h2>Now there is a new\u00a0Magna Carta-inspired artwork at Runnymede.<\/h2>\n<p><em>Writ in Water\u00a0<\/em>is an immersive space for contemplation and reflection that celebrates the legacy of Magna Carta. It was commissioned by the National Trust and is situated at the base of Cooper\u2019s Hill, with the Thames on one side and a lake on the other. It is hoped the meeting of water, sky and light, will provide visitors <a href=\"http:\/\/advisor.museumsandheritage.com\/news\/national-trust-unveils-magna-carta-inspired-architectural-space-runnymede\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;with a space for reflection and contemplation&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The large-scale circular building is a major architectural artwork by artist Mark Wallinger.
