It’s incredible to think that the first\u00a0Incredibles film came out 14 years ago.<\/h2>\n

\"Incredibles<\/h2>\n

The 2004 American\u00a0computer-animated\u00a0superhero film,\u00a0written and directed by\u00a0Brad Bird, was produced by\u00a0Pixar Animation Studios and\u00a0released by\u00a0Walt Disney Pictures. It tells the story of a family of superheroes\u00a0who are forced to hide their powers. Taking on the role of “Mr and Mrs\u00a0Parr”, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl have to live a\u00a0mundane suburban lifestyle with their three children. Unfortunately,\u00a0Mr. Incredible’s desire to help people draws his entire family into danger.\u00a0At the end of the movie (spoiler alert) having defeated their disaffected-former-fan\u00a0“Syndrome”,\u00a0a new supervillain arrives called “the Underminer”.<\/p>\n

It appeared that everything was set up for the next movie.\u00a0The\u00a0Underminer video game<\/a>\u00a0was released but no film.<\/p>\n

So we waited. Our kids grew up and left home and finally……The Incredibles 2 was announced.<\/p>\n

Mr. Incredible and I happily planned another trip to the cinema.<\/p>\n

While so much had happened in the real world, time had stood still for\u00a0our heros.\u00a0The film\u00a0picks up directly after the arrival of the Underminer. The Parr family must\u00a0save the world while attempting to\u00a0regain\u00a0the public’s trust.<\/p>\n

Working together\u00a0they, with help from Frozone, manage to stop the Underminer’s
\ndrill from destroying the Metroville\u00a0City Hall. Unfortunately, they are unable to stop him robbing\u00a0the Metroville Bank. Worse, the collateral damage their operation causes prompts the government to shut down the Superhero Relocation Program…….<\/p>\n

But all is not lost.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Superhero fan\u00a0and\u00a0owner of DevTech,\u00a0Winston Deavor\u00a0 and his sister, Evelyn, have a plan to help\u00a0regain the public’s trust in Superheros. They provide the\u00a0family with a new home and ask Helen (aka\u00a0Elastigirl) to spearhead the publicity stunt.<\/p>\n

That leaves Bob minding the family.\u00a0While he struggles to help Dash with homework, because \u201cthey changed maths\u201d, Elastigirl struggles against a new\u00a0villain,\u00a0\u201cScreenslaver\u201d.<\/p>\n
