{"id":13825,"date":"2021-10-27T09:06:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-27T09:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cityadventurers.co.uk\/blog\/?p=13825"},"modified":"2021-10-26T17:06:59","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T17:06:59","slug":"a-night-or-more-at-the-theatre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cityadventurers.co.uk\/blog\/?p=13825","title":{"rendered":"A Night (or more) at the Theatre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Just recently The City Adventurers have returned to visiting the London\u2019s West End Theatres.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COVID Entry Requirements for theatre visiting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Venues require you to wear a mask.<\/li><li>Venues require proof of a negative Covid-19 test or proof of vaccination.<\/li><li>One venue warned guests they may be asked to have their temperature taken or be asked to complete a health questionnaire.<\/li><li>Another asked guests to maintain social distance from other audience members and the venue\u2019s staff.<\/li><li>All venues stated they have put in place additional Covid-19 safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of the staff, performers, and guests.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cityadventurers.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/10\/back-to-the-future.jpg\" alt=\"Back to the future - photo by Juliamaud\" class=\"wp-image-3203\"\/><figcaption>Back to the future \u2013 photo by Juliamaud<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back To The Future: The Musical<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We took an electrifying ride back in time with Doc Brown and Marty McFly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new musical production opens in Hill Valley from 1985, before whisking you back to the 1950\u2019s. The film\u2019s original creative team, Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, are behind the new production, which features all the characters and songs from the film plus a few added surprises. And yes, there is obviously a DeLorean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Time circuits on. Flux capacitor fluxing. This show hits 88miles per hour, with some serious entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Loved every minute of this. Recommended<\/strong>. It features Stephen Schwartz\u2019s music and Sean Cheesman\u2019s choreography. More than&nbsp;60 artists&nbsp;appear in the show currently on at The&nbsp;Dominion Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fantastic Show. Frank Baum in \u2018The Wonderful Wizard of Oz\u2019. It tells the story of Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West, who first meet as sorcery students. This award-winning musical reveals what has been omitted from the story about the land of Oz\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Great set. Must admit I hated the first half of the show but the second half was great.
