Now it was time to visit the inside\u2026..However, the City Adventurers planned trip in June, had to be postponed due to transport strikes and rescheduled for September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is there to see?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The palace was originally designed as a royal residence for William III &amp; Mary II by Sir Christopher Wren. It is currently the home to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>King\u2019s State Apartments&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013&nbsp;Climb the magnificent King\u2019s Staircase, marvel at the impressively decorated rooms and discover the fashionable world of the curious court of George II and Queen Caroline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Queens State Apartments<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Explore the rooms where Mary II took her meals, relaxed and entertained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Discover the story of Princess Victoria&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013&nbsp; visit the rooms where the young girl destined to be queen was born and raised at Kensington Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Life Through a Royal Lens<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 a unique exhibition exploring the Royal Family\u2019s relationship with the camera.
