It is home to some of Britain\u2019s oldest rollercoasters including the Big Dipper. Opened on the Lancashire seafront in 1896, this historic attraction has a number of new attractions in the pipeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com\/launch-pad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Launch Pad<\/a>, opening in 2025, will whisk you 210ft above ground on a towering steel structure and reach speeds of 80mph. Experience moments of weightlessness, a thrusting G-force, and a stomach-dropping descent. The following year a new \u00a38.7million spinning pendulum ride reaching 138ft, dubbed \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com\/project-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Project MMXXVI<\/a>\u2018, is due to open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City Adventurers visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach a while ago and tried the current rides.
