Think of it as a playground for your brain, where the laws of physics seem to have been suspended and your senses are happily deceived. Yes, it has been hailed as a great place for selfies, but some of the exhibits work better if someone else is holding the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t feel it is only for people who need some scroll-stopping content for their social media, either. A Brain-Teasing, Educational Adventure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum has a universal appeal. As well as the playful, hands-on nature of the exhibits, you can discover the clever science and design behind the illusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Paradox Museum is a fascinating exploration of human perception. While you\u2019re enjoying the spectacle, you\u2019ll also be learning about the science of optics, perspective, and how easily our brains can be tricked. Many exhibits have accompanying information that explain the principles behind the illusions, turning a fun visit into an unexpectedly educational one. It sparks curiosity and encourages you to question what you see, long after you\u2019ve left the building!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cityadventurers.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/paradox-tunnel.jpg?w=748\" alt=\"paradox tunnel\" class=\"wp-image-7091\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Paradox tunnel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. A \u201cDefy Gravity\u201d Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The adverts often promote the Defy Gravity experience. Your chance to pose like an astronaut floating weightlessly in the&nbsp;<strong>Zero Gravity Room<\/strong>. You need to sign a waiver to go in this room and you need to be fit as you will be moving constantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The staff set up your phone to video you while you are in the room, so no worries about trying to take photos. The room moves and you move with it while the phone stays steady and gives you a fantastic show\u2026.or that is what is supposed to happen. In our case, there were two nimble City Adventurers and me.
