We visited three exhibitions, as well as exploring the permanent collection. There are two paid exhibitions on until 26 January 2020.<\/p>\n<h2>Part 2 &#8211;\u00a0Gauguin Portraits<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgallery.org.uk\/exhibitions\/the-credit-suisse-exhibition-gauguin-portraits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gauguin Portraits,<\/a>\u00a0located in the Sainsbury wing, is t<span style=\"color:var(--color-text);\">he first-ever exhibition devoted to the portraits of Paul Gauguin.\u00a0<\/span>Unlike the <span style=\"color:var(--color-text);\">Leonardo exhibition, this one is a conventional exhibition. There is a lot of art work on display and no interactive elements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Spanning seven rooms, the exhibition showcases the art work of <span style=\"color:var(--color-text);\">Gauguin from <\/span><span style=\"color:var(--color-text);\">his early years in Europe to his later years in French Polynesia. Featuring about fifty works,\u00a0 including paintings, works on paper, and three-dimensional objects, it aims to show how the French artist revolutionised the portrait.
