To mark the occassion Treasure Hunts in London are organising<\/h2>\n

a Royalty-themed Treasure Hunt<\/a>.<\/h2>\n

For the Golden Jubilee of\u00a0George III on October 25 1809, the\u00a0monarch remained in seclusion at Windsor Castle. Very few of his subjects were able to see his\u00a0low-key celebration\u00a0and so they\u00a0arranged their own celebrations in locations across the country. According to The Telegraph <\/a>“Their disparate junketings included throwing cakes from the roof of the Market House in Abingdon and freeing Danish prisoners of war in Reading.”<\/p>\n

Rest assured that\u00a0 no cakes will be thrown nor prisoners released during this treasure hunt.<\/p>\n

Instead, as with other Treasure Hunts in London events, there will be themed clues to solve, puzzles, photo challenges and assignments.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This hunt starts when the teams collect clue packs and ends\u00a0with a drink and \u00a0prize giving\u00a0at a nearby pub.<\/p>\n
