THE PEACE ONE DAY CONCERT CELEBRATED GLOBAL TRUCE 2012<\/p>\n

Started 10 years ago, Peace One Day<\/a> led the initiative to establish the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence, unanimously adopted by United Nations member states as 21 September \u2013 Peace Day. Peace Day actions have been introduced in areas of conflict, most notably in Afghanistan, where Peace Day agreements have led to the vaccination against polio of 4.5 million children in recent years.<\/div>\n
For Peace Day<\/a>21 September 2012, Peace One Day called for a day of ceasefire and non-violence across the world\u00a0 – the Global Truce 2012 campaign.<\/div>\n
