Escape Reality opened in Cardiff this summer.<\/h2>\n

It offers 6 different themed rooms where teams of\u00a02-6 players have\u00a060 minutes to escape. They must work together to solve various puzzles and challenges, which the venue rates in difficulty between 3\u2605\u00a0<\/em>and 5\u2605.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

All escape rooms have their own unique touches. One thing Escape Reality has that we had not used in other escape rooms was an ipad to give clues and hints. Did it work? Well, not really. We found that when we used it to give us a clue, it told us something we had already solved but didn\u2019t give a clue to finding the next puzzle. This may be to do with the numbering system.<\/p>\n

A big plus point is that the venue has a large waiting area.\u00a0This is great if you are booking more than one room or are meeting your group at the venue. Much better than hanging around on a street corner as one venue made us do (but that\u2019s another story!)\u00a0The waiting \u00a0area can be used before and after your game\u2026..just don\u2019t spoil things for players waiting to go into a game when you discuss how you got out!<\/p>\n

\u201cThe dice have been rolled\u201d<\/h2>\n

We played the Jungala \u00a0game in September.<\/p>\n

The plot revolves around you and your team finding\u00a0an old board game in the attic.\u00a0You\u2019ve just rolled the dice and been\u00a0engulfed by a vortex. You find yourselves transported into an alternative realm. Scary.<\/p>\n

Returning to\u00a0reality you try to leave the room and discover \u2026..da,da,da\u2026\u2026the door has been locked\u2026.<\/p>\n

Yes, You are Trapped\u00a0In A Room and need to find a way to Escape.<\/p>\n

All you can do is\u00a0complete the game \u201cor be trapped inside the other realm for eternity.\u201d <\/a>You have sixty minutes to complete the game and the clock is ticking\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n

Did we escape ? Yes we managed to get out in time, with the help of the games master. A fun afternoon adventure.<\/p>\n
