Available as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B01IP89UC2\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B01IP89UC2&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=invittoevent-21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DVD<\/a>, this murder mystery started life as a\u00a0Flemish TV series \u00a0called &#8220;Clan&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Malin-Sarah Gozin, and produced by the Belgian production house, Caviar,&#8221;Clan&#8221; first aired \u00a0in 2012\u00a0on VTM.\u00a0Kaat Beels and Nathalie Basteyns directed the\u00a0all-star cast, including Barbara Sarafian, Geert Van Rampelberg, Maaike Neuville, Kristine Van Pellicom, Ruth Becquart en Dirk Roofthooft.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B01IP89UC2\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B01IP89UC2&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=invittoevent-21\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;ASIN=B01IP89UC2&amp;Format=_SL250_&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=invittoevent-21\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border:none !important;margin:0!important;\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-uk.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=invittoevent-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B01IP89UC2\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>The story<\/h2>\n<p>The Outlaws\u00a0follows\u00a0the lives and exploits of the five Goethals sisters, the clan of the original title. \u00a0They have\u00a0vowed to stick together following the death of their parents and gather together on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>As the story begins, one of their husbands,\u00a0Jean-Claude Delcorps,\u00a0is dead and an insurance claim on his life has been made.<\/p>\n<p>While the authorities have accepted that there was no foul play, the Dewitt brothers, whose company insured Jean-Claude, are determined to find somebody to blame so they won&#8217;t have to pay up. Their suspicion falls on Jean-Claude&#8217;s long suffering wife, Goedele, and her four sisters; Veerle, Eva, Bekka and Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>Through a series of flashbacks we learn that Jean-Claude Delcorps,\u00a0was a\u00a0 cruel, horrible man. He\u00a0preyed on peoples weakness and made the lives of everyone around him\u00a0as miserable as possible.<\/p>\n<p>And so Goedele&#8217;s sisters decide that,\u00a0for the good of the family,\u00a0Jean-Claude has to go.\u00a0To that end, the sisters come up with a number of ingenious schemes to murder him and make it look like an accident.<\/p>\n<p>However, they soon discover that although planning a murder may be\u00a0easy, \u00a0committing\u00a0one\u00a0is a whole other story&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And the longer\u00a0Jean-Claude remains alive, the greater the number of people, not just his in-laws, who want him dead.<\/p>\n<p>The show keeps you guessing to the end, with twists and turns. And with each failed attempt to bump him off, the collateral damage grows.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great mystery with plenty of suspects, loads of motives and a variety of murder weapons attempted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"plotSummary\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve just finished watching \u00a0&#8220;The Out-Laws&#8221;.
