This year\u2019s Fortnum & Mason\u00a0Christmas display\u00a0presents nine festive stories. Each story tells the tale of an unlikely pairing. The idea is that the pairs have put aside their differences for the festive season. Following Brexit and the US election, which has divided friends, family and generations,\u00a0Fortnum & Mason\u00a0says the campaign aims to celebrate “the coming together of family, friends and foes.”<\/p>\n

Each story, specially illustrated by artist Brett Ryder<\/a>, has been expertly hand-sculpted into 3D versions and\u00a0painted by theatre makeup artists. <\/span>Each window also includes a\u00a0<\/span>secondary story featuring mice\u00a0having their own Christmas moment. The pairs are not just in the window – the\u00a0store\u00a0Atrium\u00a0has a giant sun and moon embracing.<\/span><\/p>\n

  8. the tree and the woodcutter<\/li>\n
  9. the turkey and the butcher<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Last years Fortnum & Mason\u00a0Christmas display was an Alice-themed extravaganza to celebrate the release of Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass.<\/p>\n
