Screenwriter Derek Kolstad created the character of \u00a0John Wick and first brought it to the screen in 2014.<\/p>\n

John was a mob hit man who quit his job when he fell in love. But not every story has a happy ending.<\/p>\n

This is the story of a retired contract killer coming out of retirement to seek vengeance.<\/h2>\n

After the sudden death of his beloved wife, John Wick receives one last gift from her, a beagle puppy named Daisy, and a note imploring him not to forget how to love. <\/span><\/p>\n

His grief\u00a0is interrupted when his 1969 Boss Mustang catches the eye of sadistic thug Iosef Tarasov who breaks into his house and steals it, beating John unconscious and leaving Daisy dead. <\/span><\/p>\n

They thugs\u00a0have just reawakened one of the most brutal assassins the underworld has ever seen. And he is out to get whoever killed his dog.<\/span><\/p>\n
