This art installation celebrates the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta and was created by H<\/span><span style=\"color:var(--color-text);\">ew Locke<\/span><span style=\"background-color:transparent;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1088\" src=\"https:\/\/cityadventurers.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/img_5546.jpg\" alt=\"Duke of Cambridge attended the dedication of &quot;The Jurors&quot; - photo by Juliamaud\" width=\"3648\" height=\"2048\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"style9\">It is formed of 12 bronze chairs, each decorated with panels of images and symbols relating to past and ongoing struggles for freedom, rule of law and equal rights. &#8211; photo by Juliamaud\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><em>Magna Carta Memorial<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0American Bar Association erected the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/runnymede\/features\/memorials-at-runnymede\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Magna Carta Memorial<\/a>\u00a0to mark the signing of the\u00a0Magna Carta. It was designed by Sir Edward Maufe and erected in 1957.
