The City Adventurers headed to Hammersmith to see Tarantino Live.
This rock musical is based on iconic scenes and soundtracks from the films of Quentin Tarantino. Expect more blood splatter and bad language than a “normal” musical.
The show had been recommended so we were really looking forward to it. They forgot to mention the soundtrack is loud. Very loud. But then I suppose it is in keeping with everything in the Quentin Tarantino Cinematic Universe being over the top.
The live orchestra accompanies the cast as they take you through scenes from Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and (unknown to us) Death Proof and Hateful Eight.
A powerful show, but not one for the easily offended.
