Professor June Andrews, a leading dementia expert, wrote an article in High50.com offering tips on ways to prevent dementia.
The list included:-
- Improve your circulation
- Stop smoking, immediately
- Get diabetes, high blood pressure and depression treated
- Do exercise – consistently
- Get more sunshine
- Eat plenty of vegetables and less red meat and dairy
- Drink water and don’t get dehydrated
- Get mental stimulation
- Spend more time with people
