Ambience at sea

The City Adventurers were recently invited to visit the Ambassador Cruise Line’s new ship Ambience. So we headed to London Tilbury port. This new cruise line is aimed at over 50s British cruisers who love no-fly cruises.

Although we’ve never been on a cruise before, a lot of our friends and club members love them. It is a short drive from London to Tilbury, and the terminal is fairly near to the local train station. We found our way into the building and checked where we were supposed to go. The ship had just arrived from its maiden voyage, so there were a number of people disembarking and collecting luggage. We were directed to the Covid-testing area before being shown to the waiting area and then led onboard ship.

It was impressive with beautiful bars, lounges and restaurants. We viewed examples of a range of cabins, before being treated to a wonderful lunch in the main restaurant.

We were so impressed, we’ve already taken the plunge and booked a cruise for later in the year. City Adventurers looking forward to a Sea Adventure. Join the City Adventurers and come too.
