Christmas at Blenheim Palace takes place until 1st January 2025. The City adventurers headed to there for a whistle-stop tour. Our advice is – don’t make it a whistle-stop tour. There is so much to see and do at Christmas at Blenheim Palace , you need to give yourself plenty of time to savour it all.

The Palace
Let’s start with the decorations within the Palace itself.
“Neverland at the Palace” is an immersive story telling adventure. Take the second star to the right, and straight on till morning, as you discover the story of Peter Pan. Walking through the building, you follow Tinkerbell as she sprinkles fairy dust over baubles and Christmas trees within the beautifully decorated State rooms. Each room is a mast piece. Where else could you wander through a moonlit London skyline, discover a Mermaid Lagoon, step aboard a pirate ship and even meet Captain Hook!
You could just walk through the experience but really you need to allow an hour to appreciate the swashbuckling adventure and marvel at the decorations.

The Light Trail
After the Palace, head outside for The Illuminated Trail, which is an after-dark spectacular. At approx 3km long (just a little less than 2 miles) the venue suggest you need at least an hour to get around. The City Adventurers would agree. We felt you really needed 90 minutes to get around in comfort and take it all in. Unfortunately we had a lot less time as we needed to catch a coach!
