After a wonderful, if rushed, visit to Blenheim Palace in 2024 to see the festivities, we returned to Blenheim Palace to see what had changed for Christmas at Blenheim Palace in 2025. This time the Palace was decorated with a Wizard of Oz theme.
We couldn’t leave without seeing the Light Trail. This time we had more than enough time to fully appreciate the lights and the work that goes into producing such a magical display.
One of the best UK Light Trails
The Telegraph listed this illumination as one of the top UK Light Trails. With twinkling Water Terraces and candlelit Fire Garden, there are numerous stunning tunnels of Lights, including a rainbow LED tunnel to dance through.
We were able to fully enjoy the spectacular Water Fountain Show and watch the festive projections across the lake.
The multi-coloured trees and Candy Cane Lane lead the way to Father Christmas at the end of the trail.
After viewing the Palace and Light trail, our next stop was dinner at the Christmas market. Followed by some festive shopping at the Christmas market and watching people on the ice rink and fair rides.
A fantastic festive visit.
